housebid started years ago in South Africa as a working model for how property bidding could actually work, not just a number in a queue, but a real first-option system where an accepted bid means something concrete.
We're bringing that back, relaunching in Greece and South Africa. Greece in particular doesn't yet have a strong online real estate marketplace; we think there's a real gap here worth filling.
The core idea hasn't changed: when your bid is accepted, you get genuine first option to buy. You view the property before committing, or, if you'd rather move faster, you can sign a waiver to commit without viewing, on the understanding that's your own choice to make.
Not every seller is ready to bid from day one, so listings can also go up traditionally; bidding is the platform's main event, but it's not the only door in.
